Walk, Stay, Dine & Unwind

Experience the beauty of the land as you embark on our newly established walks across the privately owned Drysdale Station. Wander up farm tracks, through grasslands and along ridges as you're tracing the meandering path of the Turakina River valley.

Catch glimpses of shepherds on horseback skillfully working sheep and cattle, their loyal huntaway dogs working by whistle command in the distance.

Two hikes are offered on the Station over a two night stay in the comfort of our newly renovated Shearer’s Quarters accommodation. Indulge in delicious homemade baking and meals, crafted from locally sourced produce and enjoy your tipple of choice by the fireside.

  • Visitors enjoy two routed walks over two days at Drysdale. The rugged terrain offers a unique experience, with guests reconnecting with nature as they traverse picturesque, gentle slopes, past waterfalls and abundant native bush.
